Youth Bible Studies
Important: The meeting format for these studies is to give the youth 15 minutes to answer the questions starting at one and working their way down. After 15 minutes, the leader is to pray, asking God to open our minds to understand what we are about to study and to open our hearts to apply what we will have learned. It does not matter if they do not answer all the questions, as 4 and 5 can be answered at the moment when asked. Questions 1,2 and 4 are a free-for-all group discussion. Questions 3 and 5 are to be asked in a sequencial man working your way around the room--once the person answered the question the rest can comment on it, with the leader bringing it to its desired point (answer sheet). Memory work must be done and I find it best to offer a treat to reward those who can say it the following week. (I offer minature choclate bars.) Finally ask one of the young men to close in prayer. The studies usually last one hour.
