Once the first member of Council is contacted by the Catfish Creek Conservation
Authority or Township
Office, he becomes the Flood Co-Ordinator for the incident.
The CCCA must be advised of his name immediately if they are not made aware in
the process.
The Co-Ordinator will institute the emergency plan and all subsequent warnings
should be communicated
to that person.
Upon receipt of the advisory, the Co-Ordinator will immediately notify the
dragline that its services are
required and he should be moving onto site as soon as possible.
The CCCA should consider Malahide has received the advisory once this takes
place and they are aware
of the identity of the Co-Ordinator.
(B) All “flood warnings” and
“all clear” notices shall be relayed directly to the Flood Co-Ordinator
for the particular incident. The
Flood Co-Ordinator will communicate this status immediately to the Port
Bruce Emergency Phone Committee Chairman or Vice-Chairman.
(C) It is essential that every
individual involved in the emergency keep a record of his involvement.
The record should include reference to the time and action taken.
