GRANT APPLICATION

SEWER CONNECTIONS  

You may be eligible for a one-time grant available from the monies received from the sale of the former Village of Springfield Utility.

Vacant lots and buildings constructed after the sale of the Commission (November 30^th, 2000) are not eligible for this grant as they contributed nothing towards the accumulation of assets for the Hydro Commission.  Only one grant is available per property.

  The following conditions apply:
1.            Connection applications must be submitted to the Township on or before December 31, 2001.

  2.         The work must be completed in an approved manner by an approved Contractor on or before December 31, 2001.

  3.         All requirements of the Township including decommissioning of any existing system must be met.

  4.         A Completion Certificate signed by the Municipal Enforcement Officer must accompany the Application for Grant.

  5.         This Grant Application form requesting Council consider your work eligible must be submitted.

  APPLICATION:   I have an existing structure that was serviced by hydro prior to November 30, 2000, and will be applying for my sewer connection to be eligible for a grant.
