Malahide
Township Council met at the above time with all members present.
It was noted that Ron Hewson was also in attendance.
Mr. Hewson was acclaimed in Ward 5. The
following Minutes were considered and approved by Council:

Malahide Township Council support ,in principal, the concerns of Mr. &

THAT a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Honourable Michael Harris

directed that the Road Superintendent establish a date for a road tour, and
that the new Council members also be invited to attend.

were in agreement to forward a letter to the engineer on the J.F. O’Brien
Drain with regard to the deficiencies of the road crossing and Council
requested that he arrange an on-site meeting be arranged with all of the
interested parties present to discuss the same.
Councillors Dykxhoorn and Cleminshaw as well as Deputy Mayor
asked to be advised once the meeting date was established. The
following Resolution was considered by Council with respect to issuing a stamp

Malahide Township Council endorse the Resolution of the Corporation of the
Town of Hanover requesting Canada Post to issue a stamp to support and
recognize the efforts of Volunteer Firefighters. THAT
a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to Hon. Alfonso Gagliano, Minister
responsible for Canada Post, MPP Steve Peters, MP Gar Knutson, and the Town of
Hanover.

$750.00 per annum

mileage for attendance at conventions would be paid in addition to the mileage
allowance.

THE Ontario Clean Water Agency is presently testing and including the tertiary
lines of the Municipality in their water sampling. AND
WHEREAS all of the tertiary lines are branches of the secondary system and thus
may be incorporated in the quarterly reports of the secondary system. NOW
THEREFORE Malahide Township Council has no objection to the sampling continuing
and the findings being included in the quarterly report which OCWA will
automatically forward to the approval authority.
In addition, Council are in agreement to post this information on the
London website with a link back to the municipalities.
