The
Real Lobster Boy
Descended
from a notorious carny family, Grady Stiles Jr. led an unusual
life. Trading on the deformity that made his hands and feet the
look of lobster claws, he achieved fame and fortune as 'Lobster
Boy,' promoting himself and other carnival acts such as 'Midget
Man. He was murdered by his wife and stepson after years of abuse.

That's
me in the middle, aka Lobster Boy, at a great costume party being led around
by a couple of pals (one of whom only managed to shave half of his beard).
Their job was to ensure I damaged neither the furniture nor myself.
Normally
I'm not a big party-goer. I usually don't get invited, what with the price
of good furniture nowadays. I spend most of my time playing with my son,
playing with my wife, and playing with my computer.
Sometimes
I work.
As for
this Lobster Boy stuff. . .the staff of my newspaper picked up on the
newswire coverage of the trial of Lobster Boy's killers a few years back
and followed it with great devotion. The whole thing was just too weird
to ignore.
Just like
me.
